As many of you may or may not know phishing scams are very common now, especially with the holidays approaching. For those of you that don’t know, a phishing scam is a type of online cyber attack that sends out fraudulent communications, generally via e-mail, trying to steal personal information from unsuspecting individuals such as credit card numbers, bank accounts, social security numbers etc. Last week we did a webinar about the different types of phishing to help raise awareness about this cyber threat and what to look for. As a follow up to this I wanted to share a resource I came across when researching phishing that I think everyone will find very beneficial to avoid becoming a victim of this heinous crime.
