Discovery Education is known mostly for the online videos and activities they provide. However, they offer a plethora of other resources for teachers! One of the best features in Discovery Education is their Spotlight on Strategies. The DE Team basically compiled a list of innovative instructional strategies that can be used to empower students to take ownership of their learning in different ways.

There are a few different ways to find the strategies.

Option 1: Discovery Ed

Find the Spotlight on Strategies in Discovery Education:

1. Log in to Discovery Education (our CLSD login is at https://office365.discoveryeducation.com)

2. Choose Professional Learning (Left side of screen.)

3. Choose Strategies and Resources

4. Choose Spotlight on Strategies

Option 2: RSS Feed

Look at our Spotlight on Strategies RSS Feed on our Instructional Website (it will show 3-5 highlighted posts from DiscoveryEd).

Option 3: Twitter

Go on Twitter and search #spotlightonstrategies to find current strategies and tips on twitter.
