Understanding the New Teams Meeting Experience
The video below will explain the new meeting experience some users are seeing in the Windows App. Overall, Microsoft tried to move the menu out of the center of the screen and automatically create a second window so it is easier to have your Teams Meeting and another window open at the same time if you are using two screens.
Although we are excited for this new viewing experience, we did notice an inconsistency with changing student permissions for your meeting. Sometimes it did provide the opportunity to manage permissions, and sometimes it didn’t. Right now there is no known fix for this. Our work around is to revert back to the traditional Teams meeting experience. The video below will show how to do this.
